ABOUT THE EYE CENTER
The Eye Center (Pasadena Ophthalmology Clinic), strives to provide the best and most complete eye care on an individualized basis. Our philosophy for any eye problem is to treat the condition in a manner we would expect another doctor to treat ourselves or a member of our family. We provide preventive care and treatment for all eye conditions from newborns, children, adults to geriatrics. Our staff provides the most technological and sophisticated ophthalmic care. At The Eye Center, we provide the patients with all the options and information necessary to make intelligent decisions on the treatment required. As your partner in eye care, we look forward to helping you see the best possible for your entire life.
The Eye Center was established in 1974, and has continued to grow because of physician and patient referrals. Our dedicated, compassionate, and sincere physicians, optometrists, and well trained and caring staff are the reasons for the continued support we have received from the medical community and citizens. We really appreciate the confidence that the people of Pasadena and surrounding areas have extended to us as their eye care provider. For over thirty years, we have provided comprehensive, trusting eye care to several generations of patients. Even though many have moved over the years, we feel honored that they have chosen to return to our eye center for eye examinations and treatment on a regular basis. Our dedication to quality and honest eye care has never changed since the inception of this ophthalmic clinic.
Our new facility will allow us to provide continued eye care excellence in a comfortable and modern environment. Here we are able to provide both medical and surgical plans for all your eye care problems. The clinic will also have a beautiful and contemporary optical dispensary for all your optical needs.
Dr. Larry P. Alexander, our ophthalmologist, has been in practice for almost 26 years. He specializes in comprehensive eye care, cataract and refractive surgery, diabetic laser, and glaucoma treatment. He also has extensive experience in eye trauma surgery and plastic surgery to the eyelids involving trauma, skin cancers, and the normal aging process.
Dr. Michelle Levin, our optometrist, has been in practice for 16 years. She specializes in comprehensive eye care, contact lenses and low vision (an exam for the visually impaired). Dr. Levin has a great deal of experience with all modes of contact lenses (soft contacts and rigid gas permeable), including patients with nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, bifocals, and dry eyes. She is also very competent at fitting specialty contact lenses such as post corneal transplant contact lens needs and patients that require contact lenses as a result of an ocular disease (for example, keratoconus).
